Hello, and welcome!

Thank you so much for visiting! My career as a photographer began quite accidentally, when a dear friend saw talent in the just-for-fun photos I shared on facebook and asked me to second shoot five of her already-contracted weddings nearly 10 years ago. I agreed, learned a WHOLE lot in a very short amount of time, offered portfolio-building sessions to close family and friends, and started gaining clients of my own. My first solo wedding season was in 2014, and my business grew quickly from weddings to newborns and everything in-between.

Now, in 2023, I have stepped away from larger weddings and events to focus on portrait & lifestyle photography, small events & live performances, microweddings, and elopements, with an emphasis on more relaxed sessions with families, friends, couples, individuals, pets, professionals, and creatives—sessions that we can take our time with and bring outdoors to sunny gardens or dampened woods, to historic buildings and bustling villages. I’ve found that what I love most about photography is getting to know my clients as we walk, for example, the lawns of Vanderbilt or the streets of Rhinebeck in search of just the right spot with just the right light to set our shot aglow.

More than just “look good,” I want each and every session to FEEL good. I believe in the personalization of my work, the personality of my subjects, and the presence of a story in every given moment.
